General

For ArcheNoris gGmbH the protection of your personal data provided in the context of the use of our web offers is an important concern. Therefore, we would like to inform you here which data we may collect and how we handle it. The legal basis for us is the Data Protection Act of the Evangelical Church in Germany as well as the relevant regulations for the provision of teleservices and the operation of websites.

Personal data

We generally use the personal data you provide to answer your inquiries, process your orders or provide you with access to specific information or offers. Beyond that, we only use your data if you have expressly consented to this. If the opportunity for the input of personal or business data (email addresses, name, addresses) is given, the input of these data takes place voluntarily.

Collection, processing and use of data

The personal data provided to us online will only be collected, processed and used for the purposes communicated in the specific case. Any further collection, processing or use will only take place if this is done

for a further purpose that is directly related to the original purpose for which the personal data was collected,
is necessary due to legal obligation or official or judicial order,
is necessary for the establishment or protection of legal claims or for the defense against legal action,
is necessary to prevent fraud or other illegal activities, such as willful attacks on our systems.

Contact form

If you send us inquiries via the contact form, your data from the inquiry form, including the contact data you provided there, will be stored by us for the purpose of processing the inquiry and in case of follow-up questions. We do not pass on this data without your consent.

The processing of the data entered in the contact form is therefore based exclusively on your consent (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a DSGVO or §6 DSG-EKD). You can revoke this consent at any time. For this purpose, an informal communication by e-mail to us is sufficient. The legality of the data processing operations carried out until the revocation remains unaffected by the revocation.

The data you entered in the contact form will remain with us until you request us to delete it, revoke your consent to store it, or the purpose for storing the data no longer applies (e.g. after we have completed processing your request). Mandatory legal provisions – in particular retention periods – remain unaffected.

Processing of data (customer and contract data)

We collect, process and use personal data only to the extent necessary for the establishment, content or modification of the legal relationship (inventory data). We collect, process and use personal data about the use of our Internet pages (usage data) only to the extent necessary to enable the user to use the service or to bill the user for the service.

The collected customer data will be deleted after completion of the order or termination of the business relationship. Legal retention periods remain unaffected.

Logging

When you access our websites, communication-related data (e.g. abbreviated Internet protocol address) or usage-related data (e.g. information on the start and duration of use and on the telecommunications services used by you) are automatically generated by technical means. Furthermore, information is collected that cannot be attributed to a specific person (e.g. Internet browser used; operating system; domain name of the website from which you came; number of visits; average time spent on the site; pages viewed). We use this information to determine the attractiveness of our websites and to improve their performance and content.

When you visit one of our websites, we may store information on your computer in the form of a “cookie”. If you do not want us to recognize your computer, please set your Internet browser to delete cookies from your computer, block all cookies or warn you before a cookie is stored.

YouTube

Our website uses plugins from the YouTube site operated by Google. The operator of the pages is YouTube, LLC, 901 Cherry Ave, San Bruno, CA 94066, USA.

When you visit one of our pages equipped with a YouTube plugin, a connection to the YouTube servers is established. This tells the YouTube server which of our pages you have visited.

If you are logged into your YouTube account, you enable YouTube to assign your surfing behavior directly to your personal profile. You can prevent this by logging out of your YouTube account.

YouTube is used in the interest of an appealing presentation of our online offers. This represents a legitimate interest within the meaning of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f DSGVO.

This site uses so-called web fonts provided by Google for the uniform display of fonts. When you call up a page, your browser loads the required web fonts into its browser cache in order to display texts and fonts correctly.

For this purpose, the browser you are using must connect to Google’s servers. This enables Google to know that our website has been accessed via your IP address. Google Web Fonts are used in the interest of a uniform and appealing presentation of our online offers. This represents a legitimate interest within the meaning of Art. 6 (1) lit. f DSGVO.

If your browser does not support web fonts, a standard font from your computer will be used.

You can find more information about Google Web Fonts at https://developers.google.com/fonts/faq and in Google’s privacy policy: https://www.google.com/policies/privacy/.
